Most of the flowers used in the floral design work come from the farm, just north of Wisconsin's Lake Country. Varieties are carefully chosen, lovingly grown in the greenhouse, tended to in farm-made compost, and finally cut from the garden to create floral designs that echo the great wonder and abandon of the natural world.
Courtney farms with her husband, Michael Gutschenritter at their farm, Three Brothers Farm, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. They grow vegetables for their Community Supported Agriculture program, also known as CSA. They also provide flowers, eggs, chicken and vegetables to their community, and raise Shetland sheep for their gorgeous wool. They occasionally host a concert in the 100-year-old barn.
